Σε αυτή τη σειρά έργων, το σώμα, η μορφή, η φιγούρα, καταβυθίζεται, διαλύεται ή και εξαϋλώνεται μέσα στο πυκνό φως του κορεσμένου χρώματος, στην καταστροφή της αναπαραγωγής, στη λάθος έκθεση, στο καμένο φίλμ. Η επιφάνεια δεν κρύβει, αποκαλύπτει: τον θάνατο της μορφής ως ανάγκη για ύπαρξη.

Η «αποτυχία» εδώ δεν είναι ατύχημα, είναι μέθοδος. Δεν είναι παρέκκλιση από ένα ιδανικό τελικό αποτέλεσμα, είναι η ίδια η ουσία της εικαστικής πρόθεσης. Η μορφή καίγεται για να υπάρξει. Η εικόνα επαναλαμβάνεται μέχρι να εκλείψει. Η υπερέκθεση δεν είναι σφάλμα, είναι οντολογικό εργαλείο – ένα φιλοσοφικό φίλτρο που φανερώνει την αδυνατότητα της αναπαράστασης να συλλάβει την εμπειρία.

Το αποτυχημένο έργο γίνεται εδώ το πιο ειλικρινές: δεν υπόσχεται τελειότητα, δεν διεκδικεί ακρίβεια. Είναι αποδοχή της ρωγμής, της διάλυσης, του κεντρισμένου από το χρόνο ίχνους. Είναι η φωνή του μη-τελειωμένου, του παραμορφωμένου, του παραδομένου στο φως της φθοράς.

Αυτή η πρακτική συνομιλεί με τον νεοπερβατικό μινιμαλισμό, αρνούμενη το φορμαλιστικό καθαρότητα και εισάγοντας στη θέση της την ένταση του εξαφανισμένου. Το σώμα δεν παρίσταται – διαλύεται, και με αυτή τη διάλυση θεμελιώνει την αληθινή παρουσία: την ύπαρξη του μη παρόντος.

In this series of works, the body, the form, the figure, is submerged, dissolved, or even dematerialized within the dense light of saturated color, in the destruction of reproduction, in misexposure, in burned film. The surface does not conceal—it reveals: the death of form as a necessity for existence.

Here, “failure” is not an accident, but a method. It is not a deviation from an ideal final result; it is the very essence of the artistic intention. The form burns in order to exist. The image repeats itself until it vanishes. Overexposure is not a flaw—it is an ontological tool, a philosophical filter exposing the incapacity of representation to capture experience.

The failed work becomes the most honest one: it promises no perfection, claims no precision. It is the acceptance of the fracture, of dissolution, of the trace pierced by time. It is the voice of the unfinished, the distorted, the one surrendered to the light of decay.

This practice converses with neo-pervatic minimalism, rejecting formalistic purity and introducing in its place the tension of disappearance. The body is not present—it dissolves, and through this dissolution, it grounds true presence: the existence of the non-present.
